BIO
Chris S. Anderson, Special Assistant to the President for Institutional Diversity at Michigan Technological University (Houghton, MI) has a masters in biological sciences and a masters in education administration with a concentration in curriculum development. She taught middle school science for six years and at the post secondary level for two years. She has extensive experience in developing precollege summer academic programs (20 years); and diversity, retention and student support programs (15 years). Anderson's role at Michigan Tech involves the establishment and ongoing development of partnerships with secondary schools, corporations and state and national organizations that strengthen the university's outreach, recruitment, retention and graduation of underrepresented populations.EXPERTISE
